Saturday, June 30th, 2007Last Day of Boot Camp : (
Thursday, June 28th, 2007Today was the last day of Boot Camp for me until September. There is another one that begins July 9 but because of my trip to Uganda, I won’t be enrolling but I’ll still be working out.
We did the normal warm up and then did some sandbag races with exercises in between. Then we did a platoon run which I always enjoy. Ended with some more exercise and 100 side straddle hops. Those hurt my knee. I had to give my legs a rest between 60 and 70.

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007| This was a tough run for me. My legs felt dead and I was sore a bit from yesterday’s mile run. I had to walk a few times after the turnaround. Just didn’t feel like myself today.

Tuesday Bike and Glide
Tuesday, June 26th, 200760 minutes on the Bike and 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer. Every five minutes, I would increase the resistance and try to go at a max effort for 30 seconds.

Boot Camp Monday
Monday, June 25th, 2007HIIT-High Intensity Interval Training is what it is. Running (or other aerobic exercise) at a very high intensity – almost to the point of total exhaustion. And then you jog for a recovery. That’s what we did after warming up this morning. Don’t know how that will work when we do the mile run tomorrow. And then 30 more minutes of exercising. I had a huge puddle under my feet when I was done. I don’t know if I was completely exhausted from yesterday’s workout or today’s workout.
Sunday Workout
Sunday, June 24th, 200760 minutes on the Cybex glider – that is a good workout – and then 60 minutes on the bike. I’m a little weary.
Saturday Bike Swim
Saturday, June 23rd, 2007Spent 60 minutes on the bike and then swam 500 meters. Just enough to slow down and cool off.
